The 2020 Emmy Awards took place overnight and there were some big wins on the table...

It was *the* night for the TV industry as the Primetime Emmy Awards took place in the early hours of this morning, putting the spotlight on the best of what television has to offer. Although the awards looked a little different this year given the pandemic, curtains were still raised as the show went on with host Jimmy Kimmel acing the emcee festivities again.

This year, winners were accepting awards remotely and digitally, and it was a record-setting night for "Schitt's Creek" — and a big one for "Watchmen" and "Succession". Plus, Zendaya came, she saw and she conquered, as she made history as the youngest actress to ever win the award, as well as the second Black actress after Viola Davis in 2015.
