Queen Bey roars
Disney has just confirmed a live-action remake of one of its classic tales, The Lion King, and the cast features a host of prominent personalities in the industry. Set to be released in 2019, the cast includes Beyoncé — who was recently spotted wearing Egyptian-based brand Okhtein — who will play the role of Nala. Also signed to star in the performance is Donald Glover as Simba, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Scar and James Earl Jones as Musafa, who voiced his role as the character in the original 1994 animated film. The remake of the film is set to come to life through American actor and producer Jon Favreau, who also directed and produced Disney's remake of The Jungle Book.
