Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie to star together again
In not one, but two, upcoming titles
Having only ever previously appeared on screen together in the film Mr & Mrs Smith, the set on which they met nine years ago, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are set to co-star again in a new film by Universal Pictures – By The Sea. This time, however, Jolie – who wast awarded a damehood this year – will not only be acting, she will also be directing and producing.
It has been confirmed today that Pitt, 50, and Jolie, 39, will star in and co-produce By the Sea, which Jolie also wrote, and it has been described as an 'intimate, character-driven drama'.
"Angelina continues to showcase her extraordinary storytelling abilities in front of and behind the camera, and we are thrilled to extend our relationship with her on By the Sea. Angelina and Brad represent two of Hollywood's brightest talents, and we are excited to be a part of their collaboration on this powerful piece." Said Donna Langley, Chairwoman of Universal Pictures.
