
Hollywood heavyweights celebrate the best in film and television at the AFI Awards
The crème de le crème of showbiz
Hosted by AFI CEO and President Bob Gazzale, the daytime the 15th annual AFI Awards drew in a myriad of industry studio heads, including Jim Gianopulos, Ron Meyer, Brad Grey, Kevin Tsujihara, Alan Horn and Harvey Weinstein, as well as the who's who of the acting world.
The cast of Boyhood, Interstellar, Foxcatcher, Into The Woods, Selma, Birdman, Whiplash, were all in attendance, as well as Angelina Jolie for her directing for Unbroken who was posing with her husband Brad Pitt for the cameras. A pregnant Keira Knightley who co-stars in The Imitation Game also made an appearance, stylishly concealing her baby bump in a floral mid-length dress by Erdem.
An assortment of new television show's also made the cut this year for AFI – along with Mad Men – Amazon's Transparent, Cinemax's The Knick from Steven Soderbergh, HBO's Silicon Valley with a reallyand Netflix's Orange Is The New Black were also among the celebrated TV shows.
