The 2017 BAFTA Awards was held last night at the Royal Albert Hall in London where the pre-show spotlight fell on the red carpet as celebrities arrived dressed in their very best. Leading the haute fashion show was Kate Middleton in a black off-the-shoulder dress by Alexander McQueen, accompanied by Prince William. Other scene-stealers on the night included Emma Stone, Amy Adams as well as Emily Blunt.

Meanwhile, continuing the trend from the recent Golden Globe and Screen Actor Guild Awards, the night offered few surprises on the awards front as La La Land and its ensemble continue its winning run. Other winners included Casey Affleck and Viola Davis, while veteran actor Mel Brooks was bestowed the Fellowship Award.
