The screen adaptation of Roald Dahl's popular children's fairy tale The BFG, premiered at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival last night. Directed by Steven Spielberg, the film stars Ruby Barnhill as the lonely orphan girl, Sophie and Oscar winner Mark Rylance as the big friendly giant. From a friend to protector, the giant introduces a magical world to the little girl. The movie also stars Rebecca Hall and Bill Hader.
