All eyes are on the UAE this weekend as the country hosts a selection of culturally-enriched events. From one of the biggest sporting events, the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, taking place in the country's capital, to Dubai which is offering food connoisseurs a chance to indulge in Miss Lily's new menu as well as an achingly cool art exhibition. Must-see art exhibition by Ian Davenport
Known for his chromatic palettes, British abstract painter and former Turner Prize nominee is showcasing his captivating works in a new exhibition, Cascade, at Al Serkal Avenue. Showcasing two new works, aptly titled Mirrored Place and Cobalt Blue Water, the bright hues are dripped onto a canvas before flowing straight to the bottom, resulting in a must-see for any art enthusiast.
Ian Davenport's Cascade exhibition is open at Custot Gallery Dubai, Al Serkal Avenue Dubai.
A new menu at Miss Lily's
Indulge in a new gastronomical experience at Miss Lily's as the Caribbean cuisine adds new dishes to their menu. Located in the heart of Sheikh Zayed Road, make sure to try the new Kale salad, which includes organic produce, or a new King Crab Rundown, which comes complete in a sweet corn porridge and roasted cashews.

Yasalam and Prabal Gurung at Formula 1 weekend
One of the region's highly anticipated sporting events — the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix — brings excitement back this year, on and off the track. Expect to see Etihad Airways' cabin crew dressed in the coveted new Grid Girl uniforms (sneak peek above) created by New York-based fashion designer Prabal Gurung — who will be in Abu Dhabi to showcase the collection this weekend. Also, off the tracks, Yasalam will gather international superstars to close the races each day, think headliners Calvin Harris, J.Cole, Mumford & Sons and Pink.
