Manolo Valdes’ Solo Exhibition at Opera Gallery Dubai

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Opera Gallery in Dubai, and there’s no better way to celebrate than experiencing its latest exhibition on display. 

World-renowned Spanish artist Manolo Valdes is showcasing a selection of beautifully crafted artworks, that range from oil paintings to large sculptures, for the first time in the Middle East. With over 25 of Valdes’ artworks on display, the exhibition is set to be a treat for any art enthusiast in the city

Manolo Valdes’ Solo exhibition will take place at the Opera Gallery Dubai, at Gate Village, Building 3, DIFC, until April 15, 2018. 

The Middle East Film and Comic Con 2018

A must-attend event for comic-book and animation aficionados, the Middle East Film and Comic Con will feature workshops and attractions, along with a cool line-up of celebrities. 

At this year’s edition of the world-renowned event, the celebrity list includes Natalia Dyer from Stranger Things, Ezra Miller from The Flash and Dr Who‘s assistant Clara Oswald, played by Jenna Coleman, who are just a few names in the star-studded line-up. 

Not only will attendees get the chance to meet and greet some of the biggest names from the world of comics, they can also preview movies from local and international content creators all weekend, show off their skills and get creative with a variety of workshops across the two-day event.

Manish Arora x Tryano Fashion Show

Indian fashion designer Manish Arora is currently in town for an exciting new launch happening in the Tryano store in Abu Dhabi. 

The designer (who showcased a colourfully printed collection during Paris Fashion Week last season) will showcase a series of designs in an exclusive fashion show to celebrate Tryano’s newly launched ready-to-wear department. 

Already featuring a slew of coveted labels on offer, the new department joins the Abu Dhabi’s retailer selection of accessories and beauty collections. 

The Manish Arora x Tryano Fashion Show will take place at Tryano Abu Dhabi at 4 pm on April 6, 2018.   

Sami Yusuf live in Sharjah

A British singer/songwriter is set to grace the Al Majaz Amphitheatre this weekend with his beautiful mix of Arabic and English tunes.

Sami Yusuf is a name to know in the Middle East and following several sold out concerts in South Africa, London and Los Angeles, the artist will bring some of his popular hits including Mast Qalandar, You Came To Me, Al-Mu’Allim, Forgotten Promises and Make Me Strong, to Sharjah. 

Sami Yusuf is set to take the stage at the Al Majaz Amphitheatre on April 6, 2018, at 9 pm.
