Sheikha Manal's call for all to celebrate the UAE's #HappiestWomenInTheWorld

Inspired by the UAE's achievement of being the first Arab nation to receive a high ranking in the United Nations' happiness and satisfaction survey, 'The Happiest Women In The World' project (#HappiestWomenInTheWorld) also takes direction from the poem The Happiest People by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. 

Sheikha Manal bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Women Establishment and wife of Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, has launched the initiative to celebrate 42nd National Day on December 2.

The Dubai Women's Establishment, Dubai Ladies Club and the Cultural Office are promoting the hashtag #HappiestWomenInTheWorld  across all social media in celebration, recognition and gratitude to the generous patronage and continued support to Emirati women by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai - who continue to raising the status of women regionally and globally.

Sheikha Manal recently tweeted: "Join us by sharing your picture with 1 line about why YOU are the happiest woman in the world using #HappiestWomenInTheWorld" 

She later went on clarify, "The UAE has always ranked high in several global reports. It came globally first in government efficiency, and in bridging cultures, and was also ranked as the highest ranking Arab nation in the happiness and satisfaction of it people.

"Additionally, the UAE was recently ranked globally first in women's education, and the first regionally in reducing the gender gap, according to the World Economic Forum's gender gap index."

"We are proud of the achievements of Emirati women and their honorable image in all international forums, since the establishment of the Union till today." She added.

Sheikha Manal also praised the unwavering support of the Mother of UAE, Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, the Supreme Chairwoman of Family Development Foundation (FDF), Chairwoman of the General Women's Union (GWU) and Chairwoman of the Supreme Council of Motherhood & Childhood, who has always played a supportive role in the achievements of UAE women.

The call to action was concluded by asking all Emirati women to redouble their efforts in making an impact in the communities and contributing to the success of their beloved nation, reinforcing the Sheikha's belief that a country can only move forward through the active participation of all.
