Be mesmerised at the Abu Dhabi International Jewellery and Watch Show
The 24th edition of the Abu Dhabi International Jewellery & Watch Show is here! Be amazed at the artistry and craftsmanship from 150 international exhibitors, including 35 new brands. Some of the participating brands include Yessayan from Lebanon, Amwaj from the UAE, Bruno Aristi from Italy and Taka Jewellery from Singapore, amongst a host of other well-known names. Additionally, visitors stand the chance of winninf some of the sparkling items in the daily and grand raffle draw, worth more than Dhs500,000.

Swoon over Julio Iglesias in concert
Grammy award-winning winner Julio Iglesias is heading to the UAE for a one-night-only performance. The legendary crooner, and father to music superstar Julio Iglesias, has over 80 albums to his name in addition to sales of more than 100 million records across the globe, making him one of the best-selling artists in history.

Sail away with a new art exhibition by Xavier Mascaró
Abu Dhabi art space Warehouse 421, will present the debut exhibition of Spanish sculptor Xavier Mascaró. Titled Departure, the exhibition will feature dozens of boats created from iron and bronze, a nod to the capital's long history as a port-city. The highlight will be a life-sized 18 metre ship that will be placed at the entrance of the show. Complementing Mascaró's boats will be a variety of traditional Emirati poetry that tells the personal stories and feelings of sailors out at sea.
Departure by Xavier Mascaró will run run from May 4 at Warehouse421, Abu Dhabi.

Interpret art at the Complexion solo art exhibition
Lovers of abstract art can head down to Gallery 76 and appreciate Canadian-Jordanian artist Dana Naser's latest project. Titled Complexion, the two-week long exhibition explores Naser's discovery to being a contemporary artist. "My paintings represent an ongoing quest to discover details around me and to reveal what cannot be expressed with words," she said. "Every time I start a new painting, I take a moment to allow this creative energy to flow allowing me to 'play', experiment and allow the paint to take its different forms and to communicate something, creating an impression on the viewer – without natural imagery or symbols, but rather with pure visual form."
Complexion by Dana Naser will run from May 10-24 at Gallery 76, Dubai International Art Centre.
Bask in musical glory at the World Classical Music Series' La Vie en Rose
The World Classical Music Series is back with its spring edition, featuring some of the world's leading opera singers today. Experience the singing prowess of French soprano Sara Gouzy and Spanish tenor Joel Prieto, both of who are noted winners of the distinguished singing competition, Placido Domingo's Operalia Competition. Accompanying the renowned singers will be piano virtuoso Semjon Skigin.
