GPP Photo Week
GPP Photo Week started out as the only one of its kind in the region and 13 years later, it has established itself as the quintessential photographic show. This year's edition sees 10 celebrated lensmen – Zack Arias, Matt Armendariz, Rafael 'RC' Concepcion, David Hobby, Sara Lando, Elia Locardi, Davide Monteleone, Asim Rafiqui, Maggie Steber and Ben Von Wong – gather to not only showcase their stunning visual works but also share experiences and techniques through a variety of workshops.
GPP Photo Week will run from February 10-17 at Alserkal Avenue.
Emirates Airline Dubai Jazz Festival
The Emirates Airline Dubai Jazz Festival celebrates its 15-year anniversary in 2017 and is set to welcome several big-name artists including headliners Mariah Carey, Enrique Iglesias and Tom Jones. The three-day musical extravaganza will also feature supporting acts such as The Rad Trads, Raul Midón and Nathan Sykes.
The Emirates Airline Dubai Jazz Festival will run from February 22-24 at the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre. For tickets visit ticketmaster.ae.
A. Lange & Söhne exhibition
Appreciate the horological mastery of Swiss luxury watchmaker A. Lange & Söhne through a new exhibition that features a larger-than-life model of the Datograph Perpetual Tourbillon. Also on display are key pieces in its varied collections as well as vintage pocket watches that are associated with the maison's early history. To top it all off, a watchmaker and an engraver will be on hand to show the intricacies of the process.
The A. Lange & Söhne exhibition will run from February 7-15 at The Dubai Mall.
West Side Story at Dubai Opera
Much-loved American musical West Side Story is coming to the Dubai Opera! The Tony award-winning musical West Side Story was written by novelist Arthur Lorent and tells the story of star-crossed lovers, very much in the vein of Romeo & Juliet. Expect to sing along to its famous musical numbers including "America", "Maria", "Tonight" and "I Feel Pretty".

Dubai Restaurant Week
It's that time of year again when Dubai's top restaurants curate special menus for the food connoisseurs. Whether you'd like to taste culinary creations from Michelin-starred chefs – think Gordon Ramsay, Heinz Beck and Atul Kochhar – or simply indulge in a smorgasbord of fine gastronomic fare, this is the event that is not to be missed.
Dubai Restaurant Week will run from February 23 until March 4.
Doha Jewellery & Watches Exhibition
For 2017, the Doha Jewellery & Watches Exhibition will be run under the theme 'Once Upon a Time... Luxury'. The 14th edition is set to welcome a host of master jewellers that will showcase their exquisite collections with one of the main highlights certain to be Van Cleef & Arpels' Émeraude en majesté collection.
The Doha Jewellery & Watches Exhibition will run from February 20-25 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center.
Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championship
Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the iconic Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championship celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2017 and this year's star-studded line-up includes world number one Andy Murray, former champion Roger Federer and world number four Stan Wawrinka. Meanwhile, the women's trophy will be challenged by world number one Angelique Kerber as well as Agnieszka Radwanska and Simona Halep.
The 2017 Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championship will be held at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium from February 19 until March 4.
