Meghan Markle writes a children’s book inspired by Harry and Archie

'The Bench'
The children's book explores the relationships between a father and son, as seen through the eyes of mothers...

Following *that* tell-all interview with Oprah, Meghan Markle is publishing a children’s book, set to be revealed on June 8.

Titled ‘The Bench’, the children’s book is a result of the inspiration Meghan felt by the bond between her husband Prince Harry and their son, Archie (2), through the eyes of a mum.

“The Bench started as a poem I wrote for my husband on Father’s Day, the month after Archie was born,” the Duchess said in a statement. “My hope is that The Bench resonates with every family, no matter the make-up, as much as it does with mine.”

The story will be accompanied by images from the award-winning illustrator Christian Robinson.

The book is the latest venture by the pair since they stepped down from their royal duties and moved to Los Angeles last year.
