Part memoir, part handbook, the Nasty Gal founder's new book provides guidelines for all business savvy women

Sophia Amoruso, founder of Nasty Gal, chronicles her successes and failures in her newly released book titled Girl Boss. The e-commerce mogul started back in 2006 with a store on eBay, and converted her achievements into a multi-million dollar business. With her first attempt at writing, she opens up about her turbulent past of shoplifting and dumpster diving, and her transformation into the entrepreneur and CEO she is today.

Amoruso concludes that ultimately it was her gut instinct that got her to where she is now, and states that "failure is, it's like those are the people who are going out in the world and saying, 'This is what I want to do, and if this doesn't work, I've failed,' which I never did. I never wanted to be a CEO. I mean, I want to be one today but I never intended to be a CEO. I never intended to build a $100 million business. If that was what I was focused on, I think I would be missing all of these things along the way, all of the small things that got us here."
