26 contemporary artists collaborate to create a unique children’s spelling book

Humpty Dumpty Publishing along with Alteria Art have joined forces to create a very unique spelling book for kids. A collection of 26 contemporary artists were asked to illustrate a single letter from the alphabet making 'The Artists' Colouring Book of ABCs.' Expect to see the works of Tracy Emin, Harland Miller, Gary Hume, Marc Quinn and other members of the 'Young British Artists.'

The book was promoted through a string of events, kicking off with a preview exhibition, which ran from December 6 - 11 at Sotheby's followed by the official book launch which took place on December 12 at the Serpentine Gallery in London. Proceeds of the limited edition art book (with only 250 copies made) will support the Kids Company Charity - an organisation helping youth living in poverty. The Chapman brothers have also created exclusive numbered and signed silkscreen prints of their letter "O."
