A bejeweled look at Cartier's rich history

The French jewellery house has now unveiled a 272-page hardcover book on their extensive range of fine jewellery and other accessories from 1900 to 1972 – titled 'Cartier in the 20th Century'

Cartier's new book is an extremely in-depth display of the brand's opulent past, featuring black-and-white vintage and colour photography from Conde Nast and their own archives alongside detailed text explanations of Cartier's most iconic jewellery collections and rare pieces.

The precious book holds chapters on Cartier's cultural influences from India, Egypt, Japan and China, as well as portraits of legendary figures related to the brand, such as the Queen of Romania, Duke and Duchess of Windsor and Princess Grace of Monaco, and actresses and artists like Andy Warhol and Elizabeth Taylor
