Book of the week: 'Not That Kind of Girl' by Lena Dunham
The actress sheds some light on her turbulent past
This week in New York, Lena Dunham premiered her upcoming memoir, Not That Kind of Girl. The new book highlights the actress' struggle with mental health problems – which her Girls character's O.C.D. is based on – her therapy sessions, and much more.
"The germophobia morphs into hypochondria morphs into anxiety morphs into the pain and angst that accompany entry into middle school," Dunham writes in her book.
Smart, funny and honest, Not That Kind of Girl further establishes Lena Dunham as a new fresh literary voice of our generation.
