The Young Collectors Auction returns to Dubai
Inspiring new art work from the Middle East
The Young Collectors Auction will be the first auction of the New Year and will be held at Ayyam Gallery in Dubai (Al Quoz) next week on January 21, 2014. The auction is used as a platform for revealing regional talent, providing international exposure for emerging and established young arists. The public sales from past auctions have highlighted some of the Middle Easts most exciting figures, featuring art work from across the Arab world, Turkey and Iran.

On January 21 there will be an array of art to chose from, incorporating painting, photography, limited-edition prints, installations and sculpture - over 75 lots ranging in price from 7,300 to 92,000 AED. In advance of the auction, the gallery will put the entire selection on display from January 14-20.

The lineup for collectors this year is very diverse, featuring renowned Palestinian artist Samia Halaby, Lebanese artist Nadim Karam, Syrian artist Thaier Helal, Iranian artist Afshin Pirhashemi, Saudi artist Abdulnasser Gharem, who holds the record as the highest selling Gulf artist and many more talented creators.
