World Art Dubai returns for second edition
Art for everyone
World Art Dubai is set to return for its second edition in April. The four-day fair will once again put to bed the notion that art is exclusive luxury. With artworks costing between Dhs370 and Dhs37,000, visitors can own masterpieces from both regional and international artists.
The fair will showcase over 3000 artworks from various art disciplines, from paintings to sculptures and photographs. Local participating galleries include Cross Borders Gallery and Andakulova Gallery, while international galleries hail from Singapore, Spain, France and Japan. In addition to the artworks on sale, the fair will also feature a live painting area, talks and workshops, as well as art installations.
"Our aim with World Art Dubai is to support artists and educate the public that art can be affordable and not just open to a certain niche audience," explained Trixie LohMirmand, Senior Vice President, Exhibitions & Events Management, DWTC. "This is a unique chance for visitors to be exposed to a diverse collection of local and international pieces and find and buy art for their own walls, regardless of what their budget might be."
World Art Dubai will run from April 6-9, 2016, at the Dubai World Trade Centre. For more information, visit worldartdubai.com.
