The Opera Gallery is set to present Chagrin D'Amour – The Musical, a solo exhibition by Lebanese artist Marwan Chamaa. Cleverly and seamlessly integrating classic Arabic love songs into the comic works of Roy Lichtenstein, Chamaa's latest project bears all of his trademarks: cheek, sarcasism and exploration.

Not Before a Year

Chagrin D'Amour – The Musical is apart of the artist's long-standing and ongoing Gharam Wa Intiqam series, which began in 2013. Similar to his previous projects – La Dolce Vita and Caramels, Superheroes, Fried Eggs et Chocolats – Chagrin D'Amour discusses all avenues of love, from passion to heartbreak.
