Fashion designer Valentino and Oscar-winning Director Sofia Coppola are two days away from presenting their vision at the opera, La Traviata. To be performed at the iconic Teatro dell'Opera di Roma, the latest edition of the beloved performance will see the maison's Creative Directors, Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli create costumes for the cast members, while Valentino himself has personally designed the outfits for the main protagonist, Violetta.

The operatic event also marks Coppola's debut as a lyrical opera director. Coppola was handpicked by Valentino to come aboard for the artistic performance after her work on the acclaimed film Marie Antoinette. Rounding off the star-studded crew are Production Designer, Nathan Crowley (Batman Begins and The Dark Knight) and musical virtuoso Jader Bignamini.
