Gucci unveils new artistic project: Gucci 4 Rooms
It's Gucci like you've never seen before! The Italian luxury label has now collaborated with four renowned contemporary artists on a new project titled, Gucci 4 Rooms in Tokyo. Designed to allow an artistic interpretation of the maison's latest collections, Creative Director Alessandro Michele tapped into the creativity of Chiharu Shiota, Mr., Daito Manabe and Trouble Andrew to create four unique room installations inspired by different themes: Gucci Herbarium Room, Gucci Words Room, Gucci Garden Room and Gucci Ghost Room.
Each of the rooms reflect elements that are present in the brand's DNA, particularly with the latest collections; the Words Room makes use of Michele's distinctive fashion vocabulary, the Garden Room reflecting the extensive use of plants and animals in the brand's designs and the Herbarium Room showcases one their prints. Intriguingly, the secret of the Ghost Room has not been revealed and viewers can only unlock the hidden room through a series of interactive tasks online at gucci4rooms.gucci.com.
