All in the details: Simplistic beauty at Giorgio Armani
From bold eyebrows to subtle berry lips
For Mr Armani's latest show, models walked the runway dressed in his trademark look of perfectly tailored suits, in shades of grey with added pops of lime green.
To complement the charcoal toned collection, artist Linda Cantello and hairstylist Roberta Bellazzi worked their subtle magic, Cantello describing the finished product as, "Armani, but faded."
Cantello used a washed and custom-blended, slate cream eye shadow with hints of purple over lids, which delicately added discreet colour. She then coated lashes with mascara and thickened eyebrows with Giorgio Armani Beauty's 'Eye&Brow Maestro' (a new multipurpose formula which will be available in September) in a darker shade than each girl's natural hair colour - giving the look a more graphic edge.
Skin was also made paler with a pure-white 'Maestro Foundation', which applies seemingly sheer, yet leaving the models with a porcelain skin finish. Lips became the main focal point as girls wore 'Rouge Ecstasy Lipstick' in a berry hue, which stood out against their neutral skin tones, "The lip is meant to look like it's been put on and taken off," Cantello explained.
Hair was equally as soft and ladylike, as Bellazzi used a triple-barrel curling iron to form serene mermaid-like waves – with side or centre parting giving each model her own individuality.
