London Fashion Week: Tom Ford SS15 beauty

Smoke signals

Drama was the key aspect of this season's beauty look for Tom Ford, smokey eyes and disheveled hairstyles was what the designer wanted for his Spring/Summer 15 lineup – nostalgic for the rock 'n' roll days of the Nineties

With an ultra-glamourous, rocker chic vibe seen throughout Tom Ford's SS15 collection, the beauty had to match, as "expensive and cool were the operative words" according to makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury for the beauty direction – which was given to her by the designer himself.

Using only Tom Ford products, Tilbury prepped models' skin with Intensive Infusion Ultra Rich Moisturizer and perfected it with the Concealing Pen around the eyes and nose. She then created the stunning smoky eye with Ford's forthcoming dramatic cream eye shadows  which still remained unnamed.

Eye Defining Pencil 02 in Onyx and Extreme Mascara in Raven were also used on top and under the eyelid. Models were then given defined eyebrows with Brow Sculptor in Taupe, while lips were kept perfectly nude in Vanilla Suede Lipstick.

For the shaggy hairdos, hair stylist Sam McKnight gave all the girls wigs matching their natural hair color and styled them into a bedhead bobs, which he also back combed before spraying it with Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray.
