First look: Proenza Schouler's collaboration with MAC Cosmetics
A match made in heaven
The limited-edition collection features an ombre blush, lipsticks, eye liners, lip pencils, nail polish and a 129SE powder brush – with the packaging taking its inspiration from a past Proenza Schouler collection.
"We wanted to create something that the Proenza Schouler woman could relate to off the runway, and the MAC brand is so deeply rooted in fashion that we knew they would understand our vision," Schouler designer duo Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez said of the collaboration.
"I have always respected Jack and Lazaro's keen vision and point of view. We've worked together backstage creating beauty looks for their runway shows for many years and it has been fascinating to me watching them evolve," commented James Gager, MAC's Creative Director and Senior Vice President.
The collection is available worldwide at MAC stores and online now.
