L'Oréal Paris is building its established philanthropic activity with a digital conversation concerning inspiring women today

After discovering that 'helping others' is the highest driver of self worth in a new study, L'Oréal Paris will conduct its first 'Women of Worth' today.

During the day-long discussion via Twitter using the hash tag , L'Oréal Paris ambassadors and various other personalities and brand ambassadors such as Lea Michele, Eva Longoria, Arianna Huffington and Mika Brzezinski and Maria Shriver, will take to the social media site to "empower and encourage" women.

"The 'Women of Worth' Twitter Forum is just one of the ways we are evolving Women of Worth, with the goal of bringing even more people together to honour, celebrate and share the stories of incredible women that are dedicated to giving back," said Karen Fondu, president of L'Oréal Paris.

"The mission of the Women of Worth program is to champion extraordinary women who are going above and beyond to serve the needs of others and their communities," she said, concluding, "By convening thousands of women via Twitter including many of our past Women of Worth honorees, we hope to ignite a meaningful discussion on the role of self-worth and inspire women to find ways that they too can make a difference by pursuing their passions."
