Set to launch in September in select markets with a campaign shot by photography duo Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, Charlotte Casiraghi has become the latest face for Gucci Cosmetics

The 27-year-old granddaughter of Princess Grace of Monaco, society favourite and member of the principality's royal family, Charlotte Casiraghi, is following on from her past modelling experiences with the fashion arm of the brand and now becoming the face of a new Gucci Cosmetics collection.

The line will include "eye, face, lip, nail and skin preparation products", according to P&GPrestige, which has had a licensing agreement with Gucci since 2006 and produced hit fragrances such as Gucci Guilty and Gucci Première.

"Charlotte was a natural choice as she embodies the modern iconic Gucci woman," said Gucci's Creative Director Frida Giannini, describing Casiraghi as a "striking beauty."

"I have really enjoyed my relationship with Frida over these last four years, and I am now excited to work with her again on this signature product. I have great admiration for her both as a designer and a strong and visionary woman," said Casiraghi of the announcement.
