Diptyque reveals new candle dedicated to Beverly Hills
Following the unveiling of its first LA location in November, the latest boutique for Diptyque was opened yesterday in Beverley Hills and to celebrate its arrival the luxury candle-making company have created a beautiful limited-edition creation named after the famous zip code – 90210. The candle's citrus scent comes from a blend of lemon essential oil, mint essential oil, orchid accord and freesia accord.
The design of the candle and the packaging is said to have been inspired by the wallpaper from the Beverly Hills Hotel that was designed by Don Loper. Like with the opening of its first boutique in 90210 last year Diptyque will be donating 10% of all of the proceeds to LAXArt, which is a non-profit contemporary art space in LA.
"Our three founders all had strong roots in the art and as a company, it's important to us to maintain this heritage and identify ways to support the arts in local communities. When we opened our first boutique in Beverley Hills last year, we partnered with Lauri Firstenberg and LAXArt to donate a portion of sales from our opening weekend to the organisation. This candle is the next step for us in our partnership." – Donna DiDonato said Diptyque managing director.
The Beverly Hills candle retails at $70 and is available in store now for a limited amount of time
