First look: Dior's new Spring 2015 makeup collection
'Kingdom of Colours'
Refreshing and exhilarating for the warm season of spring, light shades form a new palette that blends half-tones and bright shades, glimmering pastels and contrasting colour blocks. Dior's new Spring 15 collection will allow its wearer to explore infinite combinations of these cheerful confetti colours from day till night.
Stealing the spotlight, vibrant lilac, glittering poppy and invigorating green blossom feature in this technicolour lineup alongside a dose of petal white – lighting up your face with a rejuvenating nature.
A midnight blue Dior case reveals ten of the label's new make-up essentials. The 'Kingdom of Colours' is this spring's star palette – stamped with Monsieur Dior's personal coat of arms, in tribute to the eighteenth century that the couturier so admired.
Captured in a graphic palette of tailor-made textures, your face, eyes and lips, eyes will sparkle in shimmering almond green, holographic silver and deep purple, while cheekbones come to life with a hint of coral blush. Lips will also blossom in sensual pink, tulip and iridescent pearl.
Stemming from Dior's backstage expertise from its fashion shows, a new specialist product is set to deliver tailor-made makeup results. The Diorshow Khôl vibrantly accentuates the eyelid and underlines the lower lashes with precision and intense colour – coming in shades of grey, brown, black, blue and silver.
As part of the collection, hands will also get a new dose of colour as three exclusive new Dior Vernis shades have been created: a delicate mauve 'Lady', a rosebud pink 'Majesty' and an orchid pink 'Glory'.
