Makeup artist Lucia Pica announced as Chanel’s new in-house beauty designer

A bold new chapter for the French fashion house

Yesterday, Lucia Pica was confirmed as the new global creative makeup and colour designer at Chanel, who will assume her role on January 1, 2015

Following the departure of makeup artist Peter Philips nearly two years ago, the French fashion house has now snagged the Italian editorial star, Lucia Pica, to take over the development of Chanel's lipsticks, blushes, bronzers and more.

Pica, who starts her new job next month, is known for her bold use of colour and modern interpretation of beauty, and is also a backstage beauty whizz at fashion shows including Peter Pilotto and Roksanda – keeping us eager to see what she has in store for the iconic house.
