Tweed inspiration: Chanel Les 4 Ombres
Make-up inspired by the house’s iconic fabric
Taking inspiration from one of its most iconic fabrics, Chanel has updated its Les 4 Ombres collection, originally created in 1982, with a new range of make-up inspired by tweed.
The new palettes come in eight offerings inspired by a range of Chanel tweeds. Each palette contains four hues that reflect different threads in the fabric weave.
Paying homage to the iconic Chanel tweed jacket that can be styled in various ways, the palette takes a similar approach, providing colour combinations that can be used to achieve different looks.
Les 4 Ombres boasts a formula that is long-lasting and offers easy application with a soft, silky texture that glides smoothly over the eyelid.
Among the eight palette variations included are Tissé Camélia, Tissé Riviera, Tissé Vendome, Tissé Rivoli, Tissé Gabrielle, Tissé Cambon, Tissé Mademoiselle and Tissé Vénitien.
Les 4 Ombres will be available across stores in March 2014.
