Burberry debut its first Beauty Box store in Asia
On Thursday night, with Suki Waterhouse in tow, Burberry unveiled its first Beauty Box store in Asia, with a VIP opening at the Seoul boutique. Waterhouse is the current face of Burberry's latest makeup range, and an obvious choice to kickstart the Asian celebrations.
The new space was directly inspired by Burberry's Beauty Box store in London's Convent Garden, and utilises digital technology – for example, the giant digital screen, which is shaped in Burberry’s iconic check and spans one of the store’s windows, screening video content. The nail and lip bars also allow clients to virtually "try" different colour options using RFID technology.
Burberry Beauty Box Seoul, the brand's second ever Beauty Box concept store, will carry the full Burberry makeup range, along with men's and women's fragrances and small accessories.
