Backstage Beauty: Go behind-the-scenes at Dior Cruise 2016
Step backstage at yesterday’s Dior Cruise 2016 presentation and take a closer look the Peter Philips, creative and image director for Dior make-up, created beauty looks. Faces were designed to look fresh and natural, to complement the stunning natural beauty of the Cote d’Azure surroundings. Bright dewey complexions refracted light, like the shimming transparent sea in the backdrop, thanks to a base of Diorskin Star Fluid Foundation. “Luminous, naturally flattering beauty look reflects the relaxed side of the collection, embodying its cool, fluid style.” Pointed out Philips.
Natural shades from the Eye Reviver range were applied to quietly accentuate lids by enhancing their natural beauty. A touch of definition and drama came with lash lengthening black Diorshow mascara. Whilst lips recieved a “discreet shine” created by the limited edition beauty shades for summer 2015 – Dior Contour Universel 001 neutral lip liner and Lip Maximizer in Sunrise 006.
Hair was styled by Guido Palau, in relaxed lengths, and was left down to give free, light movement, complementing the unfussy and natural makeup design.
