Gucci Westman bids a fond farewell to Revlon
"It's been an incredible seven years"
Revlon is losing its artistic director, Gucci Westman, this month after seven impactful years with the company. During her tenure at Revlon, Westman concentrated on a range of colour collections called 'Colour Stories' and injected a youthful edginess to the brand.
Her approach to make-up on the runway made her a favourite with designers such as Oscar de la Renta and Rag and Bone, speaking about working on runway models backstage she said: "I'm enhancing them, not changing them. There's no tricky eye or colour lip. It's about them, the designers."
Westman offered these parting words as she bids farewell to beauty company that she has called home for the past seven years: "It's been an incredible seven years, and I loved the variety of experiences. This was a great chapter in my career, and I'm excited for all that's ahead."
What exactly she is moving on to, and who is filling her shoes at Revlon is yet to be announced. Stay tuned to Buro 24/7 Middle East for more on this story as it unfolds...
