A new note: Tory Burch Eau de Parfum
Clean, contemporary, citrus
Tory Burch debuted her new fragrance, Tory Burch Eau de Parfum, in Dubai this week. A new narrative in the fragrance family, which includes a blend of different ingredients including vetiver, grapefruit, mandarin, bergamot, neroli, cassis, sandalwood, peony, tuberose, jasmine and sweet alyssum, the scent is a clean citrus collector's piece.
As the newest addition to the Tory Burch fragrance and beauty collection, Burch spoke about the signature scent saying: "It's similar to the clothes and accessories we design — sophisticated but down-to-earth, combining disparate ideas you don't usually see together. The fragrance is the same way. There's a brightness to the scent when you first smell it, and then you realise that it's more complex."
Tory took inspiration from her personal history and her parents to whom fretwork played a big part of their design sensibility. "Fragrance is part of my personal history — my parents each had their favorite scents that are so tied to my memories. Fretwork was very much a part of their design sensibility too. It was a part of their vernacular, and now it's become a signature of the brand, and the perfect accent for the fragrance." The creation of the packaging and the bottle is a signature memory of her mothers' bedroom vanity.
Tory Burch Eau de Parfum complemented with a scented body lotion and bath shower gel will make its debut across Middle Eastern beauty counters in February 2016. The fragrance, is currently available at all Tory Burch boutiques.
