IT’S OFFICIAL: THE FIFA WORLD CUP IS COMING TO SAUDI ARABIA.

The World Cup is coming to the Middle East again!
Fifa world 2034 Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia has been announced as the official host of the 2034 FIFA World Cup.

After a triumphant season in Qatar in 2022, the FIFA World Cup is set to come back to the Middle East in errr… ten years. Yes, Saudi Arabia just won the bid to host the men’s 2034 FIFA World Cup. Following an announcement by FIFA inviting bids from Asia and Oceania to host the 2034 tournament, Saudi Arabia declared its interest almost immediately. On October 31, 2023, only hours before the bidding closed, Australia (the only other interested country) declined to enter the bidding contest, making the Kingdom the uncontested winner.

On October 31, 2023, Gianni Infantino, the Fifa president, took to Instagram to announce the list of countries hosting the upcoming seasons of “The Greatest Show on Earth.” While the 2026 World Cup will be hosted between the United States, Canada, and Mexico, the 2030 edition will have fans jetting off to Morocco, Portugal, and Spain, with centenary games in Uruguay, Argentina, and Paraguay. He also confirmed Saudi Arabia as the host of the 2034 FIFA World Cup.
