William, Kate, Harry and Meghan step out to celebrate #RAF100

In Dior and Alexander McQueen, no less
It's a busy couple of days for the British royal family. Here's what they're up to today...

Last night, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were joined by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Charles and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, as well as Kate’s family to celebrate the christening of Prince Louis, the fifth in line to the throne. And the family is together once again today to celebrate 100 years of the Royal Air Force.

The day began with a visit to Westminster Abbey for a church service and will be followed by yet another appearance on Buckingham Palace’s famed balcony to watch a flyover of more than 100 jets.

After sporting an army green dress by Ralph Lauren last night, Meghan opted for an elegant boat-neck midi dress by Dior and hat by Stephen Jones whilst Kate opted for a soft blue coat dress, in keeping with her favouring of neutral tones, by Alexander McQueen and a hat by Sean Barrett. Both wore nearly identical nude court shoes. Kate also accessorised her look with the eyecatching Dacre Brooch which is made from rubies and diamonds. The brooch used to be given to the highest performing female cadet in the air force however this tradition stopped in 2015 when it was decided that they should receive the Dacre Sword, just as the male cadets do. Kate, who is the Honorary Air Commandant of the RAF, was given the brooch as a gift.
