Arab Fashion Council launches new initiative to connect Arab talents with the French fashion industry

Arab designers are about to showcase their latest collections during Paris Fashion Week...

The Arab Fashion Council have given a platform for Arab’s next generation of creative forces and with a main goal to promote Arab fashion designers, the non-profit fashion council have launched an exciting new initiative to connect regional talents with the French fashion industry.

The new initiative, titled ‘Arabs in Paris’ is set to see Arab Fashion Council and the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode (FHCM) team up to see Arab designers officially on the Paris Fashion Week calendar for Spring/Summer ’21.

The highlight of the first edition of “Arabs in Paris” will include designers such as Azzi & Osta, Poise Design, Aboud Jamal, Ecailles, Emergency Room Beirut, Saad Collection and Mada’En.

“It is a great initiative to bridge the Arab and French design cultures together and we are very honoured to give this opportunity to our talents to present officially at Paris Fashion Week and to distinguish which Arab designers showcase truly on the official calendar” said Jacob Abrian, Founder & CEO, Arab Fashion Council.

The showroom and presentation setup will be open to international press and buyers from September 30 to October 5, 2020, and will be located at the prestigious fashion avenue, 233 Rue Saint Honore.
