The English city of Brighton is set to officially unveil the UK's latest attraction, the British Airways i360. The futuristic structure was conceptualised by the founders of Marks Barfield Architects, the same team that designed the London Eye. At 138m in the air, the British Airways i360 is the world's tallest moving observation deck and offers stunning 360-degree views of the city as well as the south coast.

The enclosed glass pod is capable of holding up to 200 people and each ride will last 20 minutes. "Built at the landward end of Brighton's historic West Pier, British Airways i360 is a modern day vertical pier that gives a new perspective on the city," said architect David Marks. "Just as the West Pier invited Victorian society to walk on water; so British Airways i360 invites visitors to walk on air."

The excitement was shared by British Airways i360 Chief Cxecutive, Eleanor Harris, "British Airways i360 is a unique visitor attraction and a world first, which will cement Brighton's position as the UK's most popular seaside destination for international visitors. It is the world's tallest moving observation tower, the world's first vertical cable car and holds the Guinness World Record for the world's most slender tower."
