The ever-inventive Airbnb are back with yet another unusual overnight experience, this time transforming the Holmenkollen Ski Jump into a luxurious penthouse for one lucky guest to experience.

The iconic ski jump has played host to many important events, including the 1952 Winter Olympics and the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships, and will now be transformed into a luxurious penthouse suite for one-night only.

"Set at the top of the ski jump where champions prepare for flight, the apartment's floor to ceiling windows give you one of the best views imaginable of Oslo, snow capped mountains and endless forest," reads the Airbnb description. "Right above you is the highest roof terrace in town, so you can do some serious stargazing as dinner is served. If you're really lucky, you might even see the Northern Lights. In the morning, breakfast will be served in the VIP lounge. So say you're ready to check out, but find taking the lift a little too boring - no worries, there is an alternate exit. The zip line will give you a new perspective on things."

Following a one-of-a-kind overnight experience inside the ski jump, the winner will be able to enjoy breakfast in the VIP lounge and then have the option to either take the ski lift down to check out, or for the daredevil – jump on an awe-inspiring zip line out.
