Instagram is a vital part of everyday life for millions of people around the world and the team at the app are consistently updating the social media network to enhance user experience — and the latest update is one of its best.

Overnight the app revealed that, in addition to accounts, it would now let users follow hashtags, too. All you have to do is search a hashtag and you'll see a 'follow' button at the top of the page. Click this, and you'll automatically receive updates from the hashtag library in your feed as posts are added. As with who you follow, your followers will be able to see the hashtags you're subscribed to under the 'following' tab.

Of the update, the company said that it will help users "discover more posts from the interest and communities you care about."

Given just how much we all love to scroll, this new update is set to breathe a breath of fresh air into our feeds moving forward. #BringItOn.
