Creating apps for a 42mm or 38mm screen must be a hard task for developers who want to take a bite out of the Apple Watch market, especially if said app is picture and video led. Enter Instagram, who have nailed it – stripping back the app to present only the basic features, and large, easily-read font for captions.

Instagram has over 100 million active users and some 70 million photos and videos shared on the Kevin Systrom-founded platform each day, and now lucky Apple Watch owners can keep up to date with their favourite Instagrammers with just the flick of a wrist.
