Celebrating 10 years since Apple released the first iPhone, the technology leader is now launching three new phones this generation: the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and the much-talked-about iPhone X. With new features more advanced than ever before, Apple's Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing, Philip Schiller, explained during the announcement in Cupertino, California that: “iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus are a new generation of iPhone that improves on everything we love about iPhone," before continuing that, “iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus have new glass and aluminum designs, new Retina HD displays and A11 Bionic — the smartest chip ever in a smartphone." New features also include single and dual cameras (for Apple's new augmented reality capabilities), wireless charging, water and dust resistance, redesigned stereo speakers and iOS 11.

With the announcement of the iPhone X, the highly anticipated tech must-have, comes "a new era for iPhone" explained Apple's Cheif Design Officer, Jony Ive. “For more than a decade, our intention has been to create an iPhone that is all display. The iPhone X is the realisation of that vision. With the introduction of iPhone ten years ago, we revolutionised the mobile phone with Multi-Touch."

Now, the new visual sees an all-screen display made with durable glass, high definition retina display, Face ID — the newest way to ensure secure authentication — and other evolved designs. Think seven-megapixel and twelve-megapixel cameras, Animoji, A11 Bionic and a design that allows for wireless charging.
