Tennis star Maria Sharapova has just announced that she will be competing at the upcoming Porsche Tennis Grand Prix. Last seen competitively at the Australian Open in January 2016, the tennis ace is currently serving a 15-month ban after a failed drugs test in March. Come this April 26 though, Sharapova will return to the court as a wild card entry, exactly a day after her sentence ends. Sharapova will be hoping to emulate previous successes in the competition after wins in 2012, 2013 and 2014. "I could not be happier to have my first match back on tour at one of my favourite tournaments," said Sharapova. "I can't wait‎ to see all my great fans and to be back doing what I love."

The 40th Porsche Tennis Grand Prix will be held from April 22-30 at the Porsche Arena in Stuttgart. Also, take a look at the Adidas by Stella McCartney Barricade SS17 collection.
