Academy Award-winning musician Pharrell Williams visited the United Nations (UN) headquarters in New York on Friday to give an inspirational speech in celebration of 'The International Day of Happiness', which was marked on March 20. 

The multi-talented 41-year-old spoke of his love of music, and other happy subjects to a crowded room at the iconic Big Apple podium (video below).

Williams recently published a seven step guide to happiness for readers and writers platform Wattpad, he also announced a collaboration with former U.S Vice President Al Gore, to host a global concert this June in support of climate change awareness.
