Prepare to see New York City from new heights as the One World Observatory Deck gears up to receive its first excited visitors on May 29. The viewing deck stands at 1,200 feet above the city in the World Trade Centre building. The tower is the tallest sky scraper in the Western hemisphere and this new dizzying observation deck offers unparalleled panoramas of the iconic island on Manhattan and its surrounded boroughs.

The tower also offers a range of sky high dining options on its 100th, 101st and 102nd floors as well as a host of interactive experiences. The deck will not only allow visitors to look out at the view, but also to look back in time. Floor-to-ceiling LED technology will wow guests with a virtual time-lapse of buildings sprouting on New York City's skyline from the 1600s to the present, showing how the city has evolved over time.

Organisers are launching the deck with a free entry first-come-first-served day on May 28, and all visitors will begin their headying visit to the top by way of a futuristic 'sky pod' elevator that takes less than on minute to ascend to the top. Enjoy a tour of the tower in the video below...
