Nike have announced that its popular Nike+ Running app will be available for the Apple Watch when it launches next month in April. The fitness app will allow Apple Watch users to track their distance, pace and duration. Much like the iPhone app, the program will help athletes to run faster, and smarter.

Bluetooth-enabled headphones can connect to both the Apple Watch and the Nike+ Running app, allowing users to listen to music whilst working out, and hear motivational 'cheers' from friends and Nike partners through the platform's program. Nike+ vice president Stefan Olander commented: “We took the best of Nike+ Running and built a seamless experience for Apple Watch customers."
