The newly-announced project by developer Kuwaiti Tamdeen will be situated in Sabah Al Ahmed Sea City and have a waterfront aspect to it, which in turn will create growth in tourism for Kuwait along with more job opportunities.

Included in the project will be Kuwait's first high-end outlet mall, a five star hotel with an internationally renowned spa and marina that will be home to over 900 boats and two high rise residential towers. A big feature of the development will be the Al Khiran Park, which will encompass beautiful greenery and gardens with an assortment of open-air attractions and interactive performance spaces for children.

Mohammed Jassim Khalid Marzouq, chairman of Tamdeen Group and the man behind launching this exciting project had this to say about the impending development:

"We believe in Kuwait, in its economic future and its excellent legal systems. The new found cooperation between the Government and Parliament has given us even more confidence to invest further in Kuwait. Today we have projects worth $2 billion in the pipeline. Kuwait... also remains one of the most underserviced markets in the GCC in terms of quality retail space... This is where Al Khiran will offer value not just in terms of shopping but an overall customer experience."
