The leading global travel site Expedia have declared Dubai's Palm Jumeirah a "must-see architectural wonder" in a new worldwide list. According to Expedia, Nakheel's crown jewel is among the must-see places to visit around the world.

The new list was curated in collaboration with respected architecture news website Arch Daily. The UAE manmade icon was praised for "combining both structural and artistic genius with their elaborate palm tree shape."

The Palm Jumeirah currently holds nine luxury resorts and various apartment and villa residential properties. Nakheel are currently giving the island a makeover, developing new projects including Nakheel Mall, The Palm Tower, The Pointe and The Boardwalk.
