British citizen, Thom Feeney, is tiring of the to-and-fro between European Ministers and the Greek government, as the Greek debt crisis continues to escalate and has taken to setting up a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo.

The fund needs to raise the required €1,600,000,000, that Greece needs to repay to the International Monetary Fund, today. Feeney writes on his page:

"Why don't we the people just sort it instead?...The European Union is home to 503 million people, if we all just chip in a few Euro then we can get Greece sorted and hopefully get them back on track soon. Easy."

It may not be that easy Thom, but it might be worth a try. At the time of publication €11,334 had been raised, leaving a mere, €1,599,988,666 left to gather before the deadline at the end of the day. Do you think enough people will come forward to contribute?
