Apple dedicated it's entire homepage to Martin Luther King Jr (MLK) yesterday in honour of the civil-rights hero's birthday. The page was filled with an image of MLK standing bravely behind a speaker's podium, with a poignant quotation that read: "Today we reflect on the life and vision of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and the work that continues in service of the broader concerns of humanity."

The day saw a countless tributes, across social media and print media, dedicated to the man who made such an impact in his tragically short life-time. Accompanying the homepage homage, were a string of tweets from Tim Cooke, Apple CEO, who evidently, and like so many, views MLK as a personal hero. Nice one Apple.
